Nelson Cassinger met his friend and mentor Dale Nish at the Utah Woodturning Symposium in 1997.  His facination for working in wood went from pens and small hollow forms to specializing in segmented pieces.  Nelson has been able to make the seemingly impossible possible in these beautiful pieces.
